Welcome to Thyme Again Gardens, our diverse 115-acre certified organic farm in the quaint community of Carrying Place, in picturesque Prince Edward County. Since 1997 we have been working towards creating a sustainable family farm operation, including growing and grinding our own grains for animal feed, harvesting renewable energy sources to meet our electrical and heating needs, and planting and harvesting fruits and vegetables in accordance with biodynamic principles.

A myriad of creatures, large and small, call Thyme Again Gardens home. We raise heritage breeds of beef cattle, chickens, turkey, pigs and sheep for food, as well as for the sheer joy of their companionship. Add a donkey, some geese and a few barn cats, and you’ll soon see why we enjoy being outside surrounded by our animal friends.

Our one acre market garden features heritage tomatoes, peppers, beans, cucmbers, oriental greens, and many other unique vegetables, grown largely from seeds harvested from our previous year’s crops.

The food that we produce supports our involvement in the Quinte Organic Farmers’ Co-operative, our growing CSA program (providing weekly in-season vegetable and meat orders to participating families), and most of our culinary needs for an expanding Bed & Breakfast.

We also have fleece for sale, both in raw form, and as washed & carded rovings. A variety of colours and textures are available from our mixed breed and purebred Shetland flock. Contact us for more information on fleece.
